✅ Tools & Materials Required:

• Drill machine with concrete/metal bits
• Measuring tape & marker pen
• Bolts, nuts, and washers (galvanized or stainless steel recommended)
• Wrench or spanner set
• Safety gloves & goggles
• Mounting brackets (if required)

 

🛠 Step-by-Step Installation

1️⃣ Measure & Mark the Position

• Identify the installation area on the lorry rear frame or loading dock wall.
• Use a measuring tape to mark the exact center alignment.
• Ensure the bumper rubber fender is installed at the correct height to absorb lorry impact.

2️⃣ Drill Mounting Holes

• Place the fender in position and mark the hole points.
• Drill holes into the truck frame (for lorry installation) or concrete/steel structure (for dock installation).
• Hole size should match the bolt diameter for a secure fit.

3️⃣ Position the Rubber Fender

• Place the 80mm x 80mm x 200mm rubber bumper against the mounting surface.
• Align it carefully to avoid uneven installation.

4️⃣ Insert Bolts & Washers

• Secure the fender with galvanized bolts, nuts, and washers.
• Use washers to distribute pressure and prevent rubber tearing.
• Tighten evenly with a wrench or spanner.

5️⃣ Check Alignment & Stability

• Ensure the rubber bumper sits flush against the surface.
• Test stability by applying pressure or a small impact.
• Retighten bolts if required.

6️⃣ Final Inspection

• Confirm that the fender is securely fixed.
• Check clearance with loading dock or wall.
• Test with slow lorry docking to ensure maximum impact absorption.
